Wildflower Festival

For the Music Lovers in our neighborhood, May marks the annual Wildflower Festival in nearby Richardson, Texas. Ranked by D Magazine as the Best of the Fests! Filled with concerts, theater and art its a whole lot of fun to attend. I've attended this event before and had a great time. This year they will feature concerts by:

The Knack, The Click Five, KC and the Sunshine Band, Cowboy Mouth, Jonny Lang, Greg Rolie of Santana, Loverboy, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Bowling for Soup, Ruthie Foster, The Sara Hickman Band, The Spinners, Lisa Loeb, Jimmie Vaughan and Shawn Colvin.

As you can see there is something for every music taste. Visit their website for more information at www.wildflowernights.com

Ticket prices are $15.00 at the door or a three day advance ticket purchase for $20.00 available at any Tom Thumb store.

Thanks for the info Michael. It's really needed and appreciated especially for those of us who really don't have time to find out on our own. Keep up the good work and keeping us informed.

Yes, and I hate that I was too late to find out the information about the committees that the city was trying to fill. Oh well. I'll be more diligent in checking the blog. Wednesday was actually my first time being able to check it. Anyway thanks for your efforts.

Um Rob, it is never too late to apply for a committee. Nearly every committee including the PRC which I am on has not yet filled their quota of regular members. Personally I think it would be extra helpful to the town to have you on a committee. Your personal style and experience would be a boon to any committee you selected to serve on.
