Happy Summer Solstice

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Today, June 21st, 2006 at 9:26 A.M. begins the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. A day when the rays of the sun strike a tropical latitude line directly and heralds the beginning of summer. If spring was any indication of how summer will be I expect many days of intense heat and continued drought conditions.
We at your Arbor Creek Community Blog hope your summer is both safe and fun. Don't forget to review our "Beat the heat" tips and our water conservation posts as well. We will continue to provide you with tips and suggestions as the blog evolves.
